Many of the Antique Storage Boxes have been hand-crafted using reclaimed materials from century old structures that are fast disappearing from the North American Landscape.  Using these materials in the Art Works celebrates our History & Culture, while pleasing the senses.

In the picture (Right) is an example of a vintage structure; built for James Healey in 1899, in Ontario, Canada and dismantled in the year 2000 by the Artisan.

Fossil from Ordovician Period of the Paleozoic EraThe lids for the decorative art boxes are over 450 million years old from the middle Ordovician Period and are made of limestone.  These genuine fossils are then carefully cut to fit the many different sizes of Decorative Art Boxes.

The seasoned hardwood used to craft the Decorative Art Boxes are harvested from local forests in close proximity to where the lids are quarried.   The hardwoods may range in species from Maple, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, and Birch…all of which are naturally aged and dried.

All of the materials used create gifts of art with a conversation of their own and enriches each gift with spirit and character.
